Product information

DESCRIPTION

NanoCuvette™ One revolutionizes your existing UV-Vis spectrophotometer, allowing for advanced micro-volume and surface refractive index measurements including protein quantification. This semi-disposable cuvette is perfect for QC, kinetics, and analyzing small volume samples without needing extensive sample preparation. Designed for education, research, and industry applications, it offers unparalleled versatility and performance at an affordable price.

FUNCTIONALITY

  • Easy to use: Designed for laboratory users at all educational levels from high school to university.
  • Examples of use cases: Refractive index, concentrations and micro-volume measurements of both liquids, sugars, proteins, antibodies, and as material parameter input in particle size analysis studies.
  • Universal Compatibility: Works seamlessly with many UV-Vis spectrophotometers, see complete list in our database.
  • Precision & Accuracy: Minimizes errors related to cleaning, pipetting, and data transcription.
  • Wide Measurement Range: Measures surface refractive index from 1.0 to 1.6 nD and absorbance from 300 to 1100 nm.
  • Surface Refractive Index Measurement: The refractive index is measured via a photonic crystal region on the inside of the cuvette wall exhibiting sharp spectral resonances that change resonance wavelengths according to changes in surface refractive index. Software and calibrations are used to convert wavelength changes in absorbance spectra into refractive index.
  • Traceable Results: Each cuvette has a unique ID for easy tracking and online calibration.
  • Reusable: Use up to 50 times with appropriate cleaning protocols.
